Welcome to Muki Venture Hiking Tours! These Terms and Conditions outline the rules and regulations for participants booking and joining hiking tours with Muki Venture. By booking a tour, you agree to comply with these terms, which are legally binding. Please read them carefully.

1. General Information

1.1 Eligibility: Participants must be at least 18 years old to book a tour with Muki Venture. Minors (under 18) are permitted only if accompanied by a responsible adult and with prior consent from Muki Venture.

1.2 Health and Fitness Requirements:

Hiking can be physically demanding. Participants are responsible for ensuring they are in good health and fit for the activity level of the selected tour. Muki Venture reserves the right to refuse participation if it deems a participant unfit for the tour.

1.3 Tour Modifications:

Muki Venture reserves the right to alter the tour itinerary due to weather, safety concerns, or other unforeseen circumstances. Substantial changes will be communicated to participants as early as possible.

2. Booking and Payments

2.1 Booking Confirmation: A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of the full payment,  as per the deadlines specified at booking.

2.2 Pricing: Prices are subject to change at any time prior to booking confirmation. Once confirmed, the booking price is fixed and will not increase unless there are additional services requested by the tour operator or participant.

2.3 Payment Methods: Payments can be made via credit/debit card or cash

3. Cancellations and Refunds

3.1 Participant Cancellations:

More than 24 hrs  Prior to Tour: If a participant cancels more than 24 hrs before the tour start time, they will receive a full refund

Less than 24 hrs: Cancellations made less than 24 hrs of the tour start time are non-refundable.

3.2 Tour Cancellations by Muki Venture: Muki Venture reserves the right to cancel a tour if necessary, in which case participants will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule for a later date. Muki Venture is not liable for any additional expenses incurred by participants due to a tour cancellation (e.g., travel or accommodation costs).

3.3 Force Majeure:

Muki Venture is not responsible for cancellations or changes due to events beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, political instability, or pandemics. In such cases, refunds or credits may be issued at Muki Venture’s discretion.

4. Insurance and Liability

4.1 Insurance Requirement: Participants are strongly advised to obtain travel insurance that covers personal injury, medical expenses, and potential tour cancellations. Muki Venture is not liable for any personal injuries or medical expenses incurred during the tour.

4.2 Limitation of Liability: Muki Venture, its employees, and guides are not liable for any accidents, injuries, illnesses, or loss of property that may occur during the tour. By joining a tour, participants accept all risks involved in hiking and outdoor activities.

4.3 Indemnity: Participants agree to indemnify and hold Muki Venture, its employees, and agents harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from their participation in the tour.

5. Participant Conduct

5.1 Behavioral Expectations: Participants must act respectfully toward fellow hikers, guides, and the natural environment. Disruptive, unsafe, or abusive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the tour without refund.

5.2 Follow Guide Instructions: For safety, participants must adhere to all instructions given by Muki Venture guides during the tour. Failure to follow safety instructions or ignoring guidelines may result in removal from the tour.

5.3 Environmental Responsibility: Participants are required to follow Leave No Trace principles to protect the environment. Littering, disturbing wildlife, or damaging vegetation is strictly prohibited.

6. Photography and Media Release

6.1 Photographs and Media: Muki Venture may take photos or videos during tours for promotional purposes. By participating in the tour, you grant Muki Venture permission to use such media in its marketing materials, social media, and website. If you do not wish to be included in photos or videos, please inform the guide before the tour begins.

7. Privacy Policy

7.1 Personal Information: Muki Venture respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. Information collected during booking will be used solely for purposes related to your tour. Muki Venture will not share your information with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.

7.2 Communication: By booking a tour, you agree to receive emails and other communications related to your booking and future tours. You may unsubscribe at any time.

8. Governing Law

8.1 Jurisdiction: These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Your Jurisdiction]. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in [Your Jurisdiction].
